Dr. Govind is the CEO of National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), and one of the two members of ICANN-GAC from India. Till recently he served as Senior Director, heading the E-Infrastructure & Internet Governance areas in Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.

Dr. Govind has held key posts in the Department of IT, where he has more than 20 years of experience in various sectors of Information Technology including Internet Governance, Broadband Internet, E-infrastructure, Inter-Ministerial Group coordination for Policy Development and crystallising the India-stance in global internet strategy.

Dr Govind played a key role in successfully establishing Internet Exchange Points in India and establishment of the .IN Registry in the country. Recently, he has also set up the National Internet Registry for the allocation of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in the country. He has been commended at various for a nationally and internationally for actively working towards the use of Internet for inclusive growth and development f multi-lingulisation in the Indian context.

Heading the Secretariat of Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) from 2006 to 2011, Dr. Govind continues to represent the country as Advisor in the GAC and is also an ongoing Member of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group of Internet Governance Forum (IGF).

Dr Govind had his doctoral thesis in Plasma Physics and Electromagnetic Wave Propagation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India. He also has completed Diplo management course in Global Internet Governance and has to his credit twenty four technical research publications and reports in international and national journals.

Earlier, Samiran was a founder and managing director of a leading management consulting and business advisory practice known for working on distinctive projects for a range of corporations from Fortune 500 clients to top Indian businesses and mid-sized entities. Samiran has worked extensively in sectors including telecom, entertainment, payment systems, e-commerce, social media, and energy and renewables.

Samiran has a Masters in Business Administration from St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, United States of America, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calcutta, India.

Part of their growth is also international, expanding to different parts of the world.

“We’ve seen tremendous amounts of growth in India, it’s a buzzword,” said Shridhar.

From a percentage standpoint, the U.S. is still one of the strongest markets out there in terms of absolutes, but ResellerClub is seeing traction in China, Turkey, Brazil and Russia as well.

Pavan is the President of Cyberlaw Asia, Asia’s pioneering organization committed to the passing of dynamic Cyberlaws in the Asian continent. Pavan is also a member of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center Panel of Neutrals.

Pavan has been the Member of the Public Interest Registry’s. Org Advisory Council. He is a member of ICT Policy and Governance Working Group of the UNICT Taskforce. He is the Legal and Policy Consultant to Internet Mark 2 Project, which is examining the next level of Internet. He has been invited to be an Associated fellow of the Centre for Asia Pacific Technology Law and Policy (CAPTEL) at Singapore.
